Abstract
1. Many ways of eliciting solutions from clients will be illustrated via participatory group inductions. A commentary will follow each participatory experience.
2. The approaches to be presented are Guided Imagery Therapy, Exorcisms, Rossi's Moving/Mirroring Hand Approach, Solution Focused Therapy's Miracle Question, Variations on the Gestalt Therapy Two-Chair Approach, Remen's Healing Circle, and Cheek's Ideomotor Finger Signaling Approach. (As time permits.) Comments will also be made on hypnosis, language usage, and "secret therapy."

Short CV
Rubin Battino (LPCC, OH) has been in private practice in Yellow Springs in the counseling field since 1978, when he received his MS in mental health counseling from Wright State University. (See his website at www.rubinbattino.com for a complete list of his publications, which include 11 books in psychotherapy and counseling and many publications in national and international journals in this field.)
For over 10 years, he was on the faculty of the Milton Erickson Foundation's meetings on hypnosis and at the brief therapy conference. Battino specializes in single-session therapy and counseling using hypnosis. In 2023, he presented eight 90-minute free master classes via Zoom to a large audience. He presented Master Class 3 in 2024 and will present five more. He recently gave a four-hour presentation on the uses of hypnosis to Feelink, a Mexican group.
Recently, he has been developing methods to elicit solutions from his clients, all adaptable to single-session work and secret therapy.
