ABSTRACT: 
The origin of eating disorders are multifactorial
 During this master class we shall present these: the characteristics that make this group Ericksonian, among them the way the group coordinator works, as well as the universal themes that may appear and maintain the overweightness, obesity and any other eating disorders. 
Also we shall present the general model of work where it is essential in order to change the relationship of food with patients and through that the relationship with the world.

1.⁠- ⁠Establishing how and why an Ericksonian group works so well and what makes it different and more efficient than other models

Cecilia Fabre phD is a master in Ericksonian psychotherapy and systemic family therapy. She has been a clinical psychologist since 1988 and has a PhD in Integral and Conscious Development of Organizations and Groups. 

 
Integrating her knowledge from multiple disciplines including family constellations, organizational configurations, spirituality and hypnosis, Cecilia has made relevant contributions to the field, including: "Hypnosis through metaphoric objects" a new psychotherapy working model; "Vacation for the soul" an immersive experience in nature for intensive renewal; and "Lightening your soul and body" a weight loss program and handbook designed to create and sustain a new relationship with your body and soul. 
 
Cecilia is the CEO of the Ericksonian Center of Mexico A.C. and of the Milton H Erickson Institute of Cancun, she is also a member of the board of directors of the International Society of Hypnosis. She has been a teacher and supervisor of psychotherapists in Mexico and other countries. Her books The Farm of Hope and Ericksonian Family Constellations, as well as several of her articles, have been translated to various languages expanding the reach of Cecilia's contributions. 

she has participated since 1988 in various congresses, organized by the Milton h Erickson foundation, in congresses organized by the international Society of hypnosis and by various societies in Latin America, and the Ericksonian Center of Mexico, as well as giving workshops in different countries.

Helen:
Dr. María Elena Castro Sariñana holds a Master's Degree in Psychology from Universidad Iberoamericana (UIA) and a specialization from the Mexican Institute of Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy for Adolescents (IMPPA). She has pursued additional studies in various methodological areas and completed postgraduate studies in Project Management at EI BS Business School, Madrid, Spain. She is certified in Positive Psychology by TEC de Monterrey and as a hypnotherapist, having earned a Master's in Ericksonian Psychotherapy from the Ericksonian Center of Mexico in Cancun. Dr. Castro Sariñana also obtained a doctorate in intervention techniques with conscious capitalism for groups and companies from the Ericksonian Center of Mexico.
 
Her professional experience includes serving as a researcher in social sciences at the Mexican Center for Studies on Drug Dependence (now the National Institute of Psychiatry Dr. Ramón de la Fuente Muñiz), where she held the position of Principal Investigator until 1987. In this role, she conducted epidemiological studies on drug abuse within the national educational system and evaluated psychosocial risks among youth populations. She has published approximately 135 articles in scientific and popular journals on topics related to drug use and abuse, prevention, and youth development.
Between 1988 and 1994, Dr. Castro Sariñana was a National Researcher, Level I, at the Mexican Social Security Institute. She has been teaching at various higher education institutions since 1977 and has served as a consultant for the World Health Organization and the Pan American Health Organization. Currently, she is the Director of the Institute for Preventive Education and Risk Management A.C. and teaches undergraduate and graduate courses at Universidad Anáhuac Cancún and the Ericksonian Center of Mexico. Dr. Castro Sariñana also provides private consultations, particularly for adolescents and their parents, and distributes virtual self-hypnosis materials for developing life skills in adolescents and adults.
She is the creator of the Chimalli Preventive Model of Psychosocial Risks, which includes a self-help and mutual aid system under the motto "Happiness is learned."

Olga del Carmen (Tabi) Alonso Peralta
Tabi has diverse skills as an EMT (paramedic) from Red Cross as well as a Bachelor´s degree in Social Communication and a master´s degree in Ericksonian Hipnosis. She has received different awards for her community work in disaster situations as well as continuous community education and work.
She writes essays, short stories and poetry which have been published in national and international books and magazines.

* Bachelor´s Degree in Social Communication from Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City, Mexico.
* Diverse diplomas on Human Development, from Universidad Iberoamericana.
* Practitioner in Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) with John Grinder, Carmen St-John • EMT 2nd level, paramedic, from Mexican Red Cross  
* Diplomas in Ericksonian Constellations from CEM
Awards and Recognitions:
* Honor and Merit Order Gold Medal from the Mexican Red Cross
* Multiple awards and recognitions for volunteer service in the community over the past 47 years
